For our client, a well-known airline company, we’re looking for a

Marketing Executive, Berlin

The role is responsible for the implementation of the planned marketing communication programme for Germany, the Czech Republic and Poland, to ensure that the brand and net revenue targets are achieved in the region.

That’s the job
  • Supporting the implementation of best-in-class marketing communication programmes for the region, ensuring alignment with country strategy and central marketing guidelines

  • Implementing integrated marketing plans, ensuring that brand/product messages are delivered consistently across all local communication channels (i.e. PR, Digital, Website, CRM, Social Media, external media, etc.), and that all relevant agencies are briefed and aware of the market challenges

  • Planning and executing detailed targeting campaigns using the available Customer Relationship Management (CRM) capabilities

  • Proactively supporting the penetration of new customer personalisation and targeting opportunities, that will be created by the optimized CRM system

  • Managing content on the German and secondary market website homepages and landing pages, ensuring any amendments are implemented in a timely and accurate manner

  • Assisting in the execution of the region’s network and targeted advertising and promotions

  • Managing the day-to-day local agency relationships, including campaign implementation, media planning and consumer public relations

  • Tracking all marketing activities implemented by managing and constantly updating a country marketing calendar

  • Consumer brand awareness, consideration, trial, repeat purchase

  • Web metrics: website visits, unique visitors, conversion rate, ‘stickiness’

  • EMail and website homepage banners, open/click through rates and total email derived revenues

  • Digital campaign effectiveness and efficiency

  • Budget to plan

  • PR impact (Publicity)

That’s your profile
  • Marketing experience in FMCG and/or a retail environment (3+ years)

  • Experience working in a high traffic e-commerce/CRM business in a front line role (client or agency)

  • Very strong digital skills

  • Very good understanding of local media environment and campaign implementation

  • Experience of working with external agencies

  • Availability to travel

The role will be based in Berlin, with occasional visits to Hamburg and other regional network points, marketing agencies and to the headquarter in London.
