SoundCloud is the worlds leading audio platform, enabling everyone to discover original music and audio content, connect with each other and share what they hear.

As SoundCloud scales, so does our People Team. We are looking for our first Global Reward Leader based in New York, London or Berlin. As a senior member of our global People team, you will report to the Head of People and be responsible for the design, implementation and execution of an effective innovative total reward strategy, including competitive compensation plans (sales and non-sales), equity plans and flexible benefits that reflect our organization and the phase we are in. This means:
  • Effectively partner and build strong relationships with our executive team, managers and people partners to manage and consult on compensation and benefits
  • Develop competitive reward strategies for Sales, Engineering and Business functions both in EMEA and US
  • Drive the ongoing development of our existing leveling structure, both for engineering and non-engineering
  • Build a comprehensive approach to compensation and benefits benchmarking globally
  • Evolve and manage administration of our stock-option based Employee Incentive Program
  • Lead the delivery of annual salary reviews, equity refresh cycles and sales commission programs
  • Manage relationships with our external service partners, such as benefits providers and payroll
  • Design and deliver compensation training and communications to the people team, incl recruiting- and people partners, SoundClouders and managers

Your professional journey has exposed you to both the compensation and benefits side of rewards. You are now ready to take full responsibility of this area globally and looking forward building out this function with the growth of the organization. You are able to balance the strategic longer-term view, whilst being effective dealing with the day-to-day challenges. Youve proven your ability as a strategic partner to senior leaders/executives. You enjoy staying informed about developments in the reward function and you are excited about driving an innovative reward strategy that fits a growth-stage globally expanding organization. People call you pro-active and innovative in your approach to getting things done, and youre comfortable being hands-on and scrappy. You adapt easily to change and help others understand and deal with complexity and uncertainty. Youre passionate about your work, people and our product.
